Coming Up: 24th Oct - NIPA Round 2 Selection - Open
The second NIPA round is another open round - no specific subject or theme which means that you can let your imagination run wild! Each member can enter one colour print, one mono print, and one PDI.
Coming Up: 17th Oct - Adobe Lightroom & Apple Aperture - Mark Overell
Mark will provide an introductory session to both applications, outlining how to use them to improve your photography processing workflow.
Coming Up: 10th Oct - Guest Speaker - Bill Abernethy
Based in Straid, County Antrim, Bill won the prestigious ‘The Societies’ Professional Image-makers - ‘Architectural Photographer of the Year' in 2012. Bill will talk about his photography and display examples of his work.

Coming Up: 3rd Oct - RPS/IPF Panels – What’s Involved
This week Donal McCann FRPS will explain what photographic distinctions are available through the RPS and IPF, along with how to work towards them.
Then Gareth O'Cathain, Paul McGivern and Brian Maguire, who all achieved their LRPS distinctions during the 12/13 season will talk about their journeys working towards their accreditation.
Coming Up: 19th Sep - An Introduction To Photoshop with Barry Lau ARPS
This week our very own Vice-Chairman Barry Lau ARPS will cover the fundamental tools, techniques and workflows for using Photoshop CS6, including the Photoshop desktop, getting images into Photoshop, moving around an image, tips for using Photoshop to enhance your images, and an introduction to layers and layer masks.
Coming Up: 12th Sep - Basics of Photography
This week Committee Member Mark Overell will give a talk on the basics of photography, if you have trouble telling your f stops from your focal length, this is the night for you.

Well, who would've thought, we're here at the beginning of a new season, it comes round fast doesn't it?

End Of Season Dinner
Last night was the end of season dinner, there was good company, pizza and beer aplenty. There were even a few prizes given out!
