Outings Programme - 2018/19 Season
Our Outings Officer Kate Thompson has been busy planning another fantastic programme of outings and trips for the 2018/19 season.
This list is always subject to change, and ideas/suggestions are welcome.

Please note that all trips are open only to fully-paid up members of BPIC and members are expected to pay a share of fuel costs where relevant.
Sunday 23 September
2.00pm Photography Basics trip around Titanic Quarter
An opportunity to go out with your camera and refresh your knowledge and meet members. Meet at the Titanic Sign at the Titanic Building
Sunday 14 October
2.00pm Visit to Tollymore Forest
Another opportunity to get out with your camera, use filters, experiment with composition, get some early Autumn shots and try out some long exposures.
Meet at main carpark.
Club Weekend in Connemara

Trip to Seapark Fireworks display (No cost)
Saturday 17 November
Trip to the Gobbins. Normal entrance costs.
Saturday 18 January
Trip to the Ulster Folk and Transport Museum. Meet at the museum entrance at 11.00am
Normal entrance costs.
23 February – 2 March Visit to the Carnival of Masks in Venice
Come for the week or a few days – whatever suits. This is the oldest Carnival in the world and as well as photographing the Carnival characters we will be photographing Venice and the islands – it’s a photographers paradise! We will look at getting an Air B&B to keep costs down for those that are interested. Easyjet now has direct flights to Venice at a very reasonable cost.
16-19 The Photography Show in the NEC in Birmingham.
Come for the day or stay over. An opportunity to hear a wide range of well-known speakers and see the latest developments
Saturday 30 March
North Coast photography day. An opportunity to photograph beaches, castles and Game of Thrones sites. Meet at the club at 9.30am
Club Weekend in Donegal
19 May 2019
Club Trip to Sandy Cove/The Forty Foot, and various other locations in the area.
Saturday 29 June
Trip to the Saltee Islands (off the coast of Wexford) and the opportunity to stay over and go to Hook Light house etc. Cost circa 35 euro plus petrol share
Dates to be agreed - Trip to Valencia
This will be a mainly architectural trip and Easyjet have direct flights from Belfast International which are around £82 at the minute. We will look for an Air B&B to keep costs down.
