RPS Success for Brian Maguire

Congratulations to Brian Maguire who's L panel was successfully recommended today at the Licentiateship Assessments at Focus on Imaging. Brian's panel (see below) will now go forward to the Advisory Panel for the seal of approval.

NIPA Annual Exhibition 2013

Hi All,

I am absolutely delighted to say that BPIC has yet again done amazingly in the NIPA Exhibition! We have managed to get a massive 14 images accepted in both the print and PDI sections, which is fantastic considering only 75 can go forward for the whole of Northern Ireland.

NIPA Novice Competition 2013 Results

We're excited to announce that BPIC members Gareth O'Cathain and Mel Boyle have enjoyed great success in the 2013 NIPA Novice Competition.

Gareth placed 1st in the Mono print section with "The Blacksmith", placed 2nd in the Colour print section with "Helen's Wool" and received a Commended for his PDI "Zimbabwe Danger".

Mel received a commended for his Mono Print "Indian Labourers".

Roy Finlay Memorial Natural History Competition Results

We're delighted to be able to share that BPIC member Vivienne Beck placed first in the PDI section of the Roy Finlay Memorial Natural History Competition with her fantastic image entitled Piggy Back Ride.

2nd Place awarded to Christine Cassidy of Pilots Row with a print titled “When The Tide Comes In”.

3rd Place awarded to Gregory Mc Straw of Banbridge Camera Club titled “The Serpent”.

Highly Commended went to Brian McKenna for a print titled “Shield Bugs Mating”.

Shorts Camera Club - My Titanic East Belfast Competition

BPIC member Roger Eager entered the Shorts Camera Club - My Titanic East Belfast Competition and I'm delighted to announce that his image came second overall in the colour section.
