NIPA may not have performed well, but BPIC were extremely well represented in the NIPA entry.  Well done guys!

Ross Passes The (Great) Barr

We've just heard that Ross McKelvey enjoyed fantastic success at the Great Barr Open Exhibition.

The Great Barr Open Exhibition is one of the (approx 16) Annual Exhibitions organised by 'British Photographic Exhibitions' or 'BPE' as it is known.

He placed 1st (PAGB Gold) and 2nd (PAGB Silver) in the mono prints category for the prints The Boxer and Stephen respectively.  He also secured 5 individvual Judges' Awards for other prints.  All in all, quite a haul from a single exhibition.

Ross has only been entering BPE Exhibitions since January and has now achieved the BPE2 Crown Award which requires at least 50 accepted prints in the various BPE Exhibitions.   (BPE5 Crown Award is the highest Crown award and needs 300 acceptances!)

Below is a selection of the winning images, including the 1st and  2nd place mono prints.

Ross Represents!

The 2012 PAGB Annual Exhibition will feature 8 prints submitted from NIPA clubs, this is one of the best ever results for NIPA.  Of the 8 prints selected a phenomenal 3 belong to BPIC's own Ross McKelvey!
